About Colored Knife Grade Polyester Adhesives
Knife Grade polyester adhesives in various appearances are a practical solution when there is a need for horizontal or vertical applications. These adhesives are available in base colors that may be tinted using one or more coloring pastes.
White Knife Grade
White knife grade polyesters are great for use on surfaces where you need a glue that is very polishable and the stone is a primarily white stone or they may be colored to match materials that very light and bright in color. Using the paste(s) in the Universal Coloring Kit or any of the Coloring Pigments, you can match white knife grade adhesives to the lighter stone colors.
Buff Knife Grade
The buff knife grade adhesives are like the white in that these are also very polishable. And they can be tinted as well. However, mixing colors into these adhesives has a tendency to produce glue colors that are earth tones. So if your material is an earthy color, this may be the right base color if you prefer or need a knife grade polyester.
Black Knife Grade
Going a bit darker and you will probably be looking for a black knife grade adhesive. And we offer those as well. These are great for horizontal or vertical bonding black materials.
