The harder bond allows it to be used for grinding and shaping with zero chipping of the material. Additionally, its aluminum back is rigid and light weight and the resin diamond resembles a traditional polishing pad. However, the bond is more durable and outlasts traditional polishing pads.

Use the 30 grit resin cup wheel for smoothing out the underside of counter top overhangs. It is also outstanding for breaking the polish and creating a hone from a polished surface.
