17 kg Titanium Extra Clear Knife Grade

Titanium vinyl ester extra clear knife grade is the latest generation of vinyl ester glue formulas. It is virtually completely clear in film during application and is extremely strong with excellent adhesion and a fast cure time (about 15 minutes).

Characteristics

Titanium is developed using the latest raw resin materials to make it very low yellowing in outdoor or UV applications. It cures shiny and is very easily polished. It also takes color very well and just a drop goes a very long way for easier color matching.

Working With Titanium

Titanium is a drip-less formula glue. So it will stay on the edge of the stone and not drip all over the floor. In the can, it looks very very light in color and when spreading it, it becomes almost invisible. This characteristic makes working with light and white colored materials much easier.

With a gel time of 4-5 minutes and a full cure in about 15 minutes, this adhesive will keep the production pieces moving through the shop.

Compatibility

Tenax Titanium is made to work with many different materials including:

• Marble - especially white colored materials.
• Granite - all granites.
• Quartz - all quartz materials, especially the white.
• Ceramic and Porcelain - from the thinnest to the thickest materials, the bond is extremely strong.

Instructions for use:

Please follow the instructions below for using Titanium. This adhesive is a product that works based on chemical reactions. Therefore, following the directions below is key to the success of your using the product.

1. Make sure the surface to be treated is dry, clean and free of dust.
2. If coloring, add the coloring paste to the resin before mixing it with the catalyst. An excess of coloring paste may affect the final product so use caution.
3. Mixing ratio resin to catalyst is 100:1 (see chart below).
4. Stir vigorously and apply.
5. Do not place unused product back in the can.
6. Make sure can is sealed tightly after use.

Shelf Life:

Keep away from heat, humidity and sun. Product will last at least 10 months if kept between 68°F - 77°F.
